Report Domain Abuse
Howlerz Domains works to make sure the names registered with us aren’t used for anything unlawful or harmful. If you think a domain registered through Howlerz Domains is being used in an abusive way, please let us know as soon as you can.
What Constitutes Domain Abuse
Some examples of domain abuse, though not the only ones, are:
• Phishing or pretending to be a genuine website or organisation
• Spreading malware, ransomware, or other harmful software
• Fraud, scams, or other deceptive behaviour
• Spam or unwanted bulk messaging
• Breaching intellectual property rights
• Any other use that goes against UK law or Nominet’s policies
How to Report
Please send abuse reports by email to the address shown on our Contact page. To help us investigate, try to include:
• The domain name involved
• A plain description of what is happening
• Anything that backs it up, such as web addresses, screenshots, or email headers
• Your own contact details in case we need to come back to you
Response Process
Every report is looked at quickly and dealt with in keeping with Nominet’s policies and UK law. We confirm we’ve received a report without undue delay, normally within one working day.
If abuse is confirmed, we’ll take suitable action, which could mean contacting the registrant, suspending the name, or passing the matter to the proper authorities. For reasons of confidentiality or the law, we may not be able to tell you everything we’ve done.
